Ramzteq ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and how you can exercise your rights over it.

Who we are

Ramzteq is the responsible party for personal information collected through this site. Our registered address is Jalua Volcano Street & Ali St, Olifantsfontein 410-JR, Thembisa, 1683. You can reach our information officer at info@ramzteq.co.za.

Information we collect

We only collect personal information you choose to give us, or that is strictly necessary to operate the site.

  • Enquiries. This site has no contact form. If you contact us on WhatsApp, by email, or by phone, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, number or email address, and the details of your project.
  • Analytics. If enabled, we use Plausible Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service that reports aggregated, anonymised traffic statistics (e.g. page views, referrers, device type). It does not track you individually or across other websites.
  • Theme preference. Your light/dark mode choice is stored only in your own browser (local storage) and is never sent to us.
  • Office map. Our contact page embeds a Google Maps view of our office. Loading it shares standard technical information (e.g. your IP address) with Google, under Google's own privacy policy, independent of us.

How we use your information

Enquiries are used solely to respond to you and, where relevant, to discuss potential work with you. We do not sell, rent, or use your information for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.

How your information is stored

This site doesn't collect or store enquiries itself. Messages you send us stay in the channel you used (WhatsApp, email, or phone records) and are kept under our normal records-management practices, only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or as required by law.

Third parties we rely on

To operate the site and talk to you, we use the following processors, who only receive the minimum data needed to perform their function:

  • Webway: hosts this website.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): carries the messages you send us on WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
  • Plausible Analytics: cookie-free, aggregated site analytics (only where enabled).
  • Google Maps: displays our office location on the contact page.

Your rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you and why;
  • Request correction or deletion of your information;
  • Object to how we process your information;
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we have mishandled your data.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
